TAKE ACTION
Make a Call: Restore federal bargaining rights now
Ask your representatives to support the Protect America’s Workforce Act - pass bipartisan legislation to stop the Trump EO that seeks to end bargaining rights for federal workers.
On April 1, Reps. Jared Golden (D-ME) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) introduced a bipartisan bill in Congress that would nullify Trump’s executive order stripping the right to collectively bargain from hundreds of thousands of federal employees. It’s time for Congress to hear from supporters of working people on a bill that will help working people across the country.

Send a Letter to Congress: Do Not Cut Federal Employees' Retirement Security & Health Insurance Benefits
Email your Representative and Senators. Tell Congress to oppose any cuts or "reforms" to earned federal employment benefits, including changes to the Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) and Federal Employees Health Benefit Program (FEHB), as a cost offset for budget reconciliation legislation.
Congressional Republicans are considering cutting $50 billion or more in federal employee benefits over the next ten years, including cuts to FERS and FEHB, to help offset a small portion of $4.5 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthy and for corporations. These spending cuts and tax cuts are being considered as part of the Republican budget reconciliation bill that extends the 2017 Trump tax cuts.
Protecting federal employee compensation, retirement, and health care will preserve the government’s ability to recruit and retain the best talent America has to offer to address the challenges our nation faces, support our national security and economic prosperity, provide the American people with high-quality services, and keep our communities safe.
