NPEU Summer School Series Lecture: “Confronting Authoritarianism: The Role of Think Tanks”

The Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU/IFPTE Local 70)’s Political Engagement Teams are continuing their Summer School Series on July 29th with a lecture and discussion featuring Dr. Van Metre, former Director for Peace, Climate and Democratic Resilience at the National Democratic Institute. The Summer School Series is focused on solidarity and political education, with Dr. Metre discussing the comparative experiences of nonprofit organizations in resisting authoritarian attacks on research and nonprofit organizations. 

Dr. Metre’s lecture is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29th, 7 pm - 8 pm, and is open to all IFPTE members.   Thank you, Local 70!
